FASHION: LOUIS VUITTON X YAYOI KUSAMA (WHO’S JACK ONLINE JUNE 2012)


Iconic Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama has made art history over the decades, with her conceptual sculptures, performance art, paintings and installations influencing everyone from Andy Warhol to Donald Judd.

As Graduate fashion season continues, today witnessed the Royal College of Art‘s eagerly anticipated MA show take the stage (er, catwalk). Though RCA’s fashion school boasts legendary alumni like Philip Treacy and Julien Macdonald, this next generation of designers didn’t disappoint.

FASHION: CSM’S GRADUATE BA FASHION SHOW (WHO’S JACK ONLINE MAY 2012)

It’s that time of year again – Graduate Fashion season is upon us. All over the UK, young designers are anxiously putting the finishing touches to their degree’s final collections. Sewing machines are whirring, last-minute amendments are being made, and the rest of the fashion world waits with interest to see what new creative talent the next month will bring.

Last night, prestigious arts university Central Saint Martins kicked off the shows. While, as ever, the collections on show were excellent, there were three outstanding students who walked away with the night’s top prizes.
