OKI-NI LAUNCH NEW WEBSITE (LOGO.EC 02.11.12)
British menswear brand oki-ni have launched a brand new website. How did they celebrate? By launching products 20 miles into the sky, of course!
Taking their cue from the rebooted space-age-inspired site, oki-ni fastened a selection of their stocked designs to some weather balloons and fired them directly into the stratosphere, with the products spending a leisurely two hours floating 100, 000 feet above earth before touching down again. Though the brand have yet to confirm, we are to understand that each piece is still 100% wearable. Felix Baumgartner ain’t got nothing on this.

oki-ni have also released a shopable styled shoot to commemorate the launch, titled ‘Dark Tide’, which was thematically inspired by Ingmar Bergman‘s iconic film ‘The Seventh Seal‘. Though the editorial takes the slightly depressing form of a “macabre meditation on life, death and morality”, those threads are looking pretty sweet.
